DESCRIPTION

Mahogany Palm: The exterior boasts a rich mahogany palm veneer with spectacular and symmetrical "flame" grain, enhanced by a deep, lustrous patina acquired over nearly two centuries.

It features two side leaves that lift to extend the working surface. It has front drawers with handmade dovetail joints and a unique, trapezoidal bag-shaped lower drawer.

Regency Style Legs: It stands on four turned legs with decorative rings, resting on its original brass casters, allowing for movement.
Material AND FINISH

Era: 19th Century (Circa 1830 - 1860).

Style: English Regency / George IV.

Materials: Solid mahogany, flame mahogany veneer, and brass castors.

Features: Drop leaves, upper drawers, and lower work drawer.

Condition: Very good for its age. Original patina preserved, sturdy leaf mechanisms, and smoothly opening drawers. As with all antique furniture, it shows some signs of use.
