Design and Restoration Details

Interior Surprise (2-in-1 Furniture): The false top drawer is actually a drop-down door that transforms into a sturdy desk. Inside, it reveals a workspace lined with an elegant cognac-colored faux leather mat and a row of small organizing drawers.

Rococo Silhouette: Its design stands out with the voluptuous bombé curves of its front and sides, resting on four slender cabriole (curved) legs typical of classic French cabinetry.

Two-Tone Shabby Chic Finish: Artisanally restored, it boasts a warm sand/beige tone contrasted with subtle moldings painted in dusty blue. The light distressing on the edges reveals the original wood, adding texture and vintage authenticity.

Jewel Hardware: Its two large-capacity bottom drawers are adorned with rocaille-style bronze pulls and escutcheons, which gleam elegantly against the light background.

Es una cómoda-secreter vintage original de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, de estilo Luis XV, en madera maciza de nogal con herrajes de bronce de estilo rocalla. Ha sido recuperada y renovada en nuestro taller de Navalcarnero (Madrid).

¿Qué trabajos de restauración se han realizado?

Se ha renovado artesanalmente con una restauración estética profesional: pintura en tono arena con molduras en azul empolvado y un ligero decapado en las aristas que revela la madera original. El mecanismo de compás del escritorio está totalmente funcional. Todo en nuestro taller de Navalcarnero (Madrid).

¿Dónde queda mejor esta pieza en casa?

Es ideal para crear un rincón de trabajo que desaparece al cerrar la tapa, en un salón o dormitorio de aire romántico. Mide 115 cm de ancho, 55 cm de fondo y 97 cm de alto.
