Washed Oak Finish: We have removed the layers of old varnish to leave the solid oak wood in its purest and most organic state. This matte and luminous finish highlights the spectacular wood grain and the beautiful marks of time.

Provincial Charm: True to its French origin, the doors feature a sinuous upper molding (gendarme's hat profile) that adds movement and an undeniable rustic and romantic feel to the piece.

Late 18th Century Artisan Craftsmanship: The authenticity of the piece is reflected in every detail: handmade dovetail joints in its central drawer, visible structural wood tenon joints, and a robust solid plank back.

Original Hardware: It retains its original hand-forged iron hardware, from the rustic exterior hinges to the beautiful lock escutcheons and the drawer pull.

Es un armario antiguo original (bonnetière) de finales del siglo XVIII, en madera maciza de roble, con ensambles manuales de cola de milano, espigas de madera a la vista y herrajes originales de hierro forjado a mano.

En nuestro taller de Navalcarnero (Madrid) se ha realizado un decapado profundo eliminando los antiguos barnices para dejar el roble en su tono natural lavado, además de la revisión estructural y el tratamiento contra xilófagos. Queda robusto, limpio y listo para el uso diario.
