DESCRIPTION

The piece is distinguished by its curved front and sides (bombé), a technique requiring superior technical skill to bend the wood without compromising its integrity. The body of the furniture is covered in detailed floral marquetry, where woods of different tones create a painterly contrast against a satin-grain background.
Marble Top: Crowned by a marble slab in cream and ochre tones with a molded edge in a cavetto, which provides solidity and a luxurious surface for the display of art objects.
Bronze Ornamentation: It features high-quality gilt bronze (ormolu) applications on the corners, drops, handles and sabots, with rocaille and foliage motifs that accentuate its organic lines.
Storage: It has two large drawers with a continuous visual design, where the marquetry flows without interruption, maintaining the aesthetic harmony of the piece.
For maximum visual impact, we recommend placing this chest of drawers in a main entryway or as a focal point in a living room. As seen in our suggested decor, it pairs perfectly with blue and white Chinese porcelain or gold-framed mirrors, creating a dialogue between the warmth of the wood and the understated coolness of the marble and ceramic.
