DESCRIPTION

Louis XV style hall console with a veined marble top and cabriole legs.

The front features a carved apron with a shell motif at the center—the classic scallop shell from the French Provençal repertoire. The finish is hand-painted in a cream tone with a distressed (decapé) effect, including touches of color on moldings and edges to highlight the relief.

It’s the first piece you see upon entering the home. With its marble and curved legs, it makes a statement without blocking the way.

¿Es una consola original o una reproducción?

Es una consola de pino macizo de la primera mitad del siglo XX, de estilo Luis XV provenzal, con tablero de mármol veteado. Las patas cabriolé y el faldón tallado con venera son de su época; el acabado en crema con decapé es trabajo de nuestro taller, y lo indicamos con transparencia.

¿Qué trabajos se han realizado?

Revisión estructural, refuerzo de uniones donde hacía falta, lijado a mano y pintado a mano en crema con decapé y toques de color en las molduras. El mármol se conserva original. El trabajo se realizó en nuestro taller de Navalcarnero (Madrid).

¿Dónde queda mejor esta consola en casa?

Es una consola de recibidor de manual, bajo un espejo. Con 126 cm de largo y 42,5 de fondo apenas roba paso; también funciona en un pasillo ancho o tras un sofá exento. Altura de 81 cm.

¿Cómo se gestiona el envío?

El envío es gratuito a toda la Península e incluye entrega en el interior del domicilio y retirada del embalaje. El tablero de mármol viaja embalado por separado.
